This Privacy Policy applies to the WhatSpace: Design Inspector Chrome Extension (hereinafter referred to as "WhatSpace", "we", "us", or "the extension").
Our philosophy on privacy is simple: We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. WhatSpace is designed to run entirely locally within your browser.
WhatSpace operates 100% locally on your machine. We do NOT collect, transmit, store, or sell any of the following:
WhatSpace requests the minimum necessary permissions required to function. Here is exactly why we need them:
activeTab: Allows the extension to read the CSS styles and structure of the specific webpage you are currently viewing, only when you explicitly click the extension icon or use the keyboard shortcut to activate it.scripting: Allows the extension to inject the necessary UI elements (like measurement rulers, highlighting boxes, and the inspector panel) into the active tab.storage: Used to save your extension preferences (like grid sizes) and your color picker history directly to your device's local hard drive. This data never leaves your computer.WhatSpace does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. No data is sent to external servers.
Because we do not collect any data, we do not retain any data on our servers. The local preferences saved by the extension can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser's local extension storage.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time if the extension's functionality changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
